Tai Chi Qigong
Tai Chi Qigong for health and wellbeing...

"Tai Chi isn't what you do, it's how you do it".

Tai Chi Qigong is suitable for people of all ages and abilities, whether you need to sit or stand. If you are working within your own limitations and are enjoying it then you can't get Qigong wrong.
Tai Chi has been practised in China for thousands of years. There are many forms of Tai Chi with 5 major traditions of Qigong each having a different focus. My training is based on the medical tradition focusing on health and well-being.
Tai Chi (Supreme Ultimate)
Qigong (Energy Work)
The gentle flow of moves helps relax body and mind while the stances help improve balance, leg and core strength.
Qigong improves the balance of Qi ( energy ) in the body which will lead to an overall lift in your general health and well-being by reducing stress and tension physically, mentally and emotionally.
I am continually training as it takes "Two and a half lifetimes to master Tai chi "
I have a qualification to deliver a seated session for people who can only stand for short periods of time or cannot stand at all.
My sessions are tailored to my attendees and could be a mix of any of my Tai chi training.

These are mostly mixed ability group sessions that do not require previous experience. The session that does require previous experience is Active 'Well-Being' Tai Chi
If you are recovering from illness or have a chronic condition that may require a more one to one approach, please get in touch. This may be more beneficial to show you how to adapt within a group session.
How to book.
Paying for the sessions in advance will book your place. As venues have limited spaces available, this secures your place and ensures sessions keep running. A video link of a session will be available for any that you have paid for but cannot attend live. For active Tai Chi, this may be in the form of a short video sent via whattapp for you to practice.

Private sessions
at Bodyworks Physiotherapy in Knighton. LE2 6EN
These sessions can be booked to suit you and your needs.
Maximum 2 people at present.
This can be booked in for
Wednesdays between 4pm -8pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm
The Qigong session is £50 lasting up to 55 min.
The benefits of a private session are that it will be bespoke and times of booking are more flexible. It can be more beneficial if a person has long term pain or illness or in rehabilitation as it means I can accommodate the session accordingly. These can also benefit anyone wanting to join a group session but needing to learn adaptations to help them get the best out of their session
Online sessions
Private sessions over Zoom available with flexibility of time and day to suit us both.
You may live outside of the local area or the time of live sessions may not suit you. You may just prefer to be in your own surroundings. Having mastered delivering over zoom during the covid lockdowns, this option can work well. It can be more bespoke or you may wish to offer this to a workforce as part of work place wellbeing.
You do not need the zoom app, just internet to take part.
55 min £38 as a regular session
£45 as a one off
Payment by bank transfer before the session commences.
